We are looking for 2 dedicated Field Care Supervisors to join the Draycott Nursing & Care team. As part of our continued growth, we have created this new role to support the delivery of the highest quality care in our greater operations team.

To be successful in this role you will be required to assist the Healthcare Performance Manager to supervise, support and guide Draycott Nursing’s Carers and Nurses to ensure they deliver the highest possible standard of care to our clients. The role will involve 95% of time out in the field and 5% in the office for administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager with the supervision of Carers and nurses in the workplace (client’s home), encouraging them to carry out their duties in accordance with Draycott Nursing’s policies and procedures whilst focusing on person-centred care.
  • Undertake annual appraisals of Carers in accordance with the CQC’s requirements.
  • Work with the healthcare team to support competency sign off in the client’s home
  • Keep abreast of changes in healthcare regulations.
  • Take individual responsibility to safeguard clients.
  • Undertake spot checks for on a quarterly basis to ensure the clients are receiving a high standard of care.
  • Assist the Registered Manager with performance-related issues and create a culture of learning and development.
  • Assist the Registered Manager with audits and creation of action plans that foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care

  • Identify opportunities for improving HR administration processes by working in partnership with the wider HR and operational teams
  • Ensuring Bamboo HR is accurate – inputting starters and leavers, contractual amendments, change of details
  • Maintain individual personnel files (on BambooHR) and e-files, making sure that all documents are accurately stored in line with company and statutory requirements
  • Manage the colleagues’ life cycle process documentation on BambooHR
  • Be the first point of contact for colleague queries in relation to HR
  • Support in the delivery of policy and procedural messaging to the operations teams where needed
