Selina’s experience as a carer

When I first started as a carer, I didn’t know how incredibly rewarding this job would be. But once I began to work with Draycott, I quickly realised that every day I am actively helping to improve someone’s quality of life. My work allows clients to remain living independently in their own homes, which is often a huge comfort to them.

Being a carer can be challenging for a number of reasons. But when the person you are caring for smiles at you as you walk through the door or begins to open up to you over a morning cup of tea, it makes it all worthwhile.
