We are looking for a dynamic and motivated nurse with proven community experience to lead and supervise our care team to ensure our Clients receive outstanding healthcare.
You will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of care are delivered and maintained by working closely with the management team and in the field, ensuring our Clients have continuity of care and the most suitable member of staff to match their individual clinical care requirements.
You will be liaising with and managing multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including; GP, Medical practitioners of all specialities and seniority in palliative, oncology, geriatrics, OT, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapists, Chiropodist, Dieticians, Podiatrist, Speciality Nurses, e.g. Stoma / Urology / Diabetic / Neuro / Oncology / dementia / palliative, Nurses and District Nurses, Palliative Care teams and Social Workers ensuring that our Clients have the best possible care and assistance in place while ensuring Client safety by monitoring the care delivered by Carers and Nurses to the Client is in accordance with the bespoke Care Plan, Risk Assessment, and the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
You will also be responsible for the management of complaints and incidents following Draycott Nursing & Care policies and procedures and the report/escalation of complaints or potential Safeguarding issues to the Client Liaison Manager ensuring a consistent safe service in line with the CQC Fundamental Standards.
You will take individual responsibility to safeguard Clients according to the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, and to ensure care is provided in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
•A minimum formal clinical Bachelor’s Degree and current and valid NMC registration is essential.
•Experience providing leadership to healthcare staff on compliance with:
oHealth and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014
oMental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005 or equivalent framework
•Experience with managing the processing of a weekly payroll.
•Involvement managing a team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
•Experience with managing multiple staff rotas and rota management software.
•Experience managing junior support staff.
•Previous management of complaints and incidents or potential Safeguarding issues ensuring a consistent safe service in line with the CQC Fundamental Standards.
•Experience acting as a senior clinical team member of an on-call/emergency team.
•Excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate collaborative working.
