Householder or Houseowner
We will arrange for a Homeshare Co-ordinator to visit you to discuss your needs. During this discussion, all requirements and obligations of the Homeshare scheme will be fully explained. We will then endeavour to match you with an appropriate Homesharer.
Draycott Homesharers are interviewed to make sure that they meet our stringent criteria, and for us to get to know their personalities for compatibility purposes.
Draycott Homeshare undertakes a Disclosure and Barring Service check on all Homesharers. Potential Homesharers must provide us with at least two referees which we always personally follow up.
What it costs
At Draycott Homeshare we endeavour to provide an alternative solution that is cost-effective, delivers peace of mind, comfort and security.
We charge a minimal monthly fee to both Householder and Homesharer. The fee is payable for as long as the arrangement is in place.
The first step is to arrange a visit by our Homeshare Co-ordinator

“Dear Paula I know that Deborah has discussed with you the fact that I have been in hospital now for over two months and am likely to be here for some weeks more. After that I will be moving in to a residential home. It means I have not been enjoying the full benefit of my Homeshare Arrangement.
As you know I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my home with Sorcha and I have made a friend for life. She continues to support me a great deal, and I know we will still see each other.
Many thanks to you for all your support with setting up my Homeshare. I do think it is a marvellous scheme and I promote it to people whenever I can. If you need me to comment or contribute in any way to promoting the scheme do let me know. With my best wishes to you.”
Sadly, Mr Worsley has died since writing this for us. However, he made it clear that he, and his daughters, would always be happy to promote the wonderful concept of Homeshare.
