Angela Hamlin founded Draycott Nursing and Care in 1996 to provide adult care for clients in the comfort and privacy of their own home. Today, over 20 years later, the company is still managed by Angela.
Sharron trained in South Africa as a Registered Nurse. She has many years’ experience working in mission hospital in Africa and in a major hospital in Johannesburg, followed by 16 years spent teaching in the Nursing Department at the University of Witwaterstrand, South Africa before coming to the UK. At Draycott Nursing and Care she is responsible for the training of nurses and carers.
Debora has a degree in Nursing and practiced for 6 years in the paediatric/neonatal ICU and adult wards in Brazil. After moving to the UK Debora joined Draycott Nursing in 2009, working originally as a Carer then in 2012 she joined the office as a Healthcare Assessor. Debora is now Draycott Nursing and Care’s Head of Performance & Compliance and is responsible for the supervision, support and guidance of our Carers and Nurses to ensure they deliver the highest possible standard of service to our clients. Debora also oversees the compliance with CQC regulations and is responsible for the management of ISO 9001.
Lauren is a Registered Nurse /Clinical Nurse Specialist in her home country of Australia. Specialising in Intensive Care Nursing with over 7 years’ experience, caring for others is a role she thoroughly enjoys. As Client Liaison Manager, Lauren’s nursing experience and Masters of Health Science will be utilised for assessing client’s unique nursing and care needs along with creating personalised care plans and risk assessments. Lauren also leads the Care Co-ordinator team.
Kylie has a background in recruitment and selection, human capital management, business planning and staffing strategies with a career spanning 15 years and 4 countries. Having trained in a Foundation of Human Resources, she completed the ITCRA certified recruitment professional certificate and made the move to in-house recruitment. With the last 3 years of her career in health sector recruitment Kylie joins Draycott Nursing to head up the internal recruitment function. Kylie is looking forward to helping Draycott Nursing achieve its growth objectives.
Divya has recently joined Draycott Nursing and Care with a background in Human Resources which stems from her long career with British Airways where she worked in Finance, Diversity and the People Department and then as a Head Office HR manager with a group of private residential nursing homes across England. Divya’s skills include recruitment, employment law, employee relations, training and HR policies. Divya has studied for her degree on a part time basis and her voluntary work involves being Vice Chair of a charity where she works in partnership with the Metropolitan Police and local authority. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion and dialogue amongst local communities in London. Divya joins Draycott Nursing as Head of Human Resources and Operations and is positive about growing the organisation whilst maintaining its values and commitments.
Claire trained at St Thomas hospital and has over 40 years of nursing experience in the public and private sector. Her career in hospital and community nursing has included working as a Ward Sister and Matron, Health visitor, Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Nurse Practitioner and Health Care Manager, managing community nursing and specialist nursing services across central London Claire is working with Draycott Nursing and Care as a Nurse liaison and is responsible for visiting and assessing clients and drawing up care plans prior to Draycott providing care.
Lindsey has over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in South Africa, the UK and the Middle East, including many years in nursing recruitment. She has recently completed a course in palliative nursing care. As a Nurse Liaison, Lindsey is responsible for visiting and assessing clients, and drawing up care plans prior to Draycott providing care.
Emma joined the Draycott Nursing team after moving to the U.K from New Zealand, where she specialised in Cardiac Care. Emma Looks forward to expanding her skill set into domiciliary care while utilising her clinical knowledge to deliver a high standard of care to current and future clients.
Theo moved to the UK from Brisbane, Australia in November 2018. He has completed a dual bachelor degree in nursing & paramedicine and has experience in oncology and cardiology/coronary care, which has allowed him to care for patients of all ages with various conditions. Theo is keen to incorporate his clinical knowledge to ensure Draycott’s clients receive the highest possible standard of care.
Celestine is a student nurse from Australia in her final year of study. She has previously worked as a carer for two years in a nursing home and has experience working with clients with dementia and chronic illnesses. Celestine will utilise her clinical knowledge and experience to deliver a high quality service and support. Celestine also looks forward to expanding her knowledge and skills in domiciliary care.
Gabrielle moved to the UK from Melbourne, Australia having had previous experience as a Registered Nurse in Orthopaedic/Trauma. This experience has given her the opportunity to work with people of all ages and conditions. She has also spent time working as one of our carers before taking on the role as a Care Coordinator and looks forward to using these previous skills and knowledge gained to give Draycott clients the best care possible.
Jana joined the Draycott Nursing team in November, 2018 after relocating from New Zealand. As a registered midwife, she has experience working in the community and hospital setting. With a Bachelor’s degree in both Midwifery and Neuroscience, Jana hopes to expand her clinical background to broader healthcare management and domiciliary, community based care. Jana is passionate about providing a compassionate, individualised approach to care, to the highest possible standard.
Kate moved to London in October 2018 after working in Human Resources for a care agency in Exeter, Devon. Prior to this she worked in administration for The University of Exeter and was a Healthcare Assistant for North Devon District hospital where she assisted patients on the Acute Stroke Unit. Kate is currently completing her Human Resources Management and Psychology degree part time and hopes to gain her CIPD qualification in the future.
Taslima is a highly motivated and driven individual with over 11 years’ experience within various management positions where she has been responsible for training, human resources and recruitment. She joins Draycott Nursing and Care to recruit compassionate and committed Nurses and Carers who will provide a high standard of care and support to our clients.
Alexandra joined Draycott Nursing and Care after completing an Executive PA Diploma at Oxford Media & Business School, where she was awarded Distinction Honours. She hopes to contribute these new skills to the office.
Kellie studied accountancy AAT for 3 years at Milton Keynes College and qualified as an Accounting technician in 2002. She has a wealth of experience (over 20 years) in accounts management, bookkeeping, payroll and business consultancy.
Alexandra joined the Draycott Nursing and Care team as Care Co-ordinator after moving to the U.K from Australia where she worked as an ICU nurse. With a post-graduate degree in Critical Care Nursing, Alexandra hopes to expand her skill set into healthcare management while using her current experience to deliver a high standard of care to current and future clients.
Ade joined Draycott Nursing and Care as the Payroll & Accounts Administrator in March 2015. She has a BSc in Business information systems and accounting. Ade deals with all Draycott Nursing and Care’s accounting as well as both staff payroll and clients’ accounts.
