Angela Hamlin founded Draycott Nursing and Care in 1996 to provide adult care for clients in the comfort and privacy of their own home. Today, nearly 20 years later, the company is still managed by Angela.
René has worked in the HR industry since 2005 and holds Chartered membership with the CIPD. René is passionate about helping businesses grow and has a strategic vision to achieve business goals with experience of successfully co-ordinating various activities. René has proven management skills with the ability to manage performance and motivate staff of an individual and team level. In addition to her accomplishments as an HR and Operations professional René has also worked as a Carer and in the Independent Medical sector.
Sharron trained in South Africa as a Registered Nurse. She has many years’ experience working in mission hospital in Africa and in a major hospital in Johannesburg, followed by 16 years spent teaching in the Nursing Department at the University of Witwaterstrand, South Africa before coming to the UK. At Draycott Nursing and Care she is responsible for the training of nurses and carers.
Debora has a degree in Nursing and practiced for 6 years in the paediatric/neonatal ICU and adult wards in Brazil. After moving to the UK Debora joined Draycott Nursing in 2009, working originally as a Carer then in 2012 she joined the office as a Healthcare Assessor. Debora is now Draycott Nursing and Care’s Performance & Improvement Manager and is responsible for the supervision, support and guidance of our Carers and Nurses to ensure they deliver the highest possible standard of service to our clients.
Lauren is a Registered Nurse /Clinical Nurse Specialist in her home country of Australia. Specialising in Intensive Care Nursing with over 7 years’ experience, caring for others is a role she thoroughly enjoys. As Client Liaison Manager, Lauren’s nursing experience and Masters of Health Science will be utilised for assessing client’s unique nursing and care needs along with creating personalised care plans and risk assessments. Lauren also leads the Care Co-ordinator team.
Kylie has a background in recruitment and selection, human capital management, business planning and staffing strategies with a career spanning 15 years and 4 countries. Having trained in a Foundation of Human Resources, she completed the ITCRA certified recruitment professional certificate and made the move to in-house recruitment. With the last 3 years of her career in health sector recruitment Kylie joins Draycott Nursing to head up the internal recruitment function. Kylie is looking forward to helping Draycott Nursing achieve its growth objectives.
Angie qualified as an RGN, having trained at St. Thomas’ Hospital. She has many years experience as a registered nurse. Angie is working with Draycott Nursing as our Nurse Liaison responsible for visiting and assessing clients prior to providing care.
Claire trained at St Thomas hospital and has over 37 years of nursing experience in the public and private sector. Her career in hospital and community nursing has included working as a Ward Sister and Matron, Health visitor, Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Nurse Practitioner and Health Care Manager, managing community nursing and specialist nursing services across central London Claire is working with Draycott Nursing and Care as a Nurse liaison and is responsible for visiting and assessing clients and drawing up care plans prior to Draycott providing care.
Alexandra joined the Draycott Nursing and Care team as Care Co-Ordinator after moving to the U.K from Australia where she worked as an ICU nurse. With a post-graduate degree in Critical Care Nursing, Alexandra hopes to expand her skill set into healthcare management while using her current experience to deliver a high standard of care to current and future clients.
Laura has previously worked in the cosmetic and plastic surgery industry and has two years’ experience of being a carer. Laura has been working as Volunteer Paramedic for a two private ambulance companies and joined Draycott Nursing to continue with her passion of helping others.
Mariska is a Registered Nurse in her home country of South Africa where she worked as a shift leader in a medical ward. She has experience in dementia care, Parkinson's, and caring for elderly who have been diagnosed with either acute or chronic illnesses. She finds great joy in caring for others and ensuring holistic care is provided.
Christine has a Masters in Health Law and a degree in nursing. She has over 20 years’ experience in nursing in the public sector, having worked as a ward sister, Laparoscopic Nurse Practitioner and Operating Theatre Manager. Christine has spent the last 14 years in nurse education at Buckinghamshire New University. As a Nurse Tutor, Christine will draw on her expertise in nursing and education to develop and maintain Draycott’s high professional standards of nursing and care.
Paula has previously worked in the care industry gaining 12 years of experience as a Carer. Paula joined Draycott Nursing and Care in 2009 and is our Homeshare Co-ordinator and Personal Assistant to The Managing Director
Ade joined Draycott Nursing and Care as the Payroll & Accounts Administrator in March 2015. She has a BSc in Business information systems and accounting. Ade deals with all Draycott Nursing and Care’s accounting as well as both staff payroll and clients’ accounts.
Zoe joined Draycott Nursing and Care as an HR Administrator. She has worked for several organisations in client facing and support roles since completing her degree in European Politics and International Relations. Zoe is currently developing her skills as an HR professional and is keen to support the Head of HR and Operations in recruiting and retaining experienced staff.
Prior to joining Draycott Nursing and Care, Emma completed a Photography Degree at Norwich University of the Arts. With a background in customer service and as a personal assistant she hopes to bring her people and organisation skills to the office.
