We provide care at home for patients with a wide range of illnesses, injuries and incapacities. Usually you will be working one-to-one with our clients so it is essential you have good interpersonal skills. For our clients you will be the face of Draycott Nursing & Care. It is important that you are able to behave professionally and apply our 'Six C's' - caring, calm, competent, compassionate, committed and confidential - in client contact.
Depending on our clients' needs and location, you may find yourself:
- living out, looking after several clients within a locality
- living out, looking after one person intensively
- living in to look after one client
- working in a team with other live-in or live-out Draycott Nursing & Care staff.
We have clients throughout the UK, and some internationally. All international and out of London client care is always live-in.
You have no need to worry about losing your skills. At Draycott Nursing we run an intensive ongoing professional development training programme with a schedule of general and specialist courses. These courses may be run externally or internally – we believe we are unique in our field because we employ a full-time Nurse Tutor.
