Draycott Nursing is delighted to announce their support of the charity Canine Partners which assists people with disabilities to enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life, by providing specially trained assistance dogs. www.caninepartners.org.uk

The 29th of December marked the 15th year of trading for Draycott Nursing & Care. From modest beginnings the agency has gone from strength to strength gaining widespread respect within the domiciliary care industry. In May 2012 Draycott Nursing & Care will mark this milestone with an evening of entertainment and refreshments at the Orangery in Holland Park.

On the 1st and 3rd of September we held recruitment open days for Nurses and Carers. We enjoyed an excellent couple of days where potential candidates were able to meet our team and discuss working with Draycott Nursing. Following an inspection by CQC this month Draycott Nursing has been issued with a comprehensive report which demonstrates our compliance in all areas, and includes some of the many first rate comments which the inspector received from our clients and employees. Click here to download report.

The ISO 9001 standard specifies requirements for a Quality Management System where organisations wish to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide services that meet and exceed, client and applicable regulatory requirements. It also provides the framework to enhance client satisfaction through the processes for continual improvement - for which Draycott Nursing strives.

Members of Draycott Nursing & Care attended a Black Tie dinner hosted by the Mayor of Kensington in the Town Hall. The prestigious dinner raised funds for men and women in the forces who have returned from conflict in need of assistance.  

On the 9th January Angela featured on the new Woman's Hour 2011 special series which discusses the fortunes and experiences of women in new and established businesses. Each month Woman's Hour will visit businesses and get firsthand accounts on what it is really like to run a company. The first course of Relatives’ Lifeline was launched on 2nd June 2010. These support sessions are offered free to those who would benefit from advice and guidance regarding their caring role.
