All The Latest
As we’ve said elsewhere, the whole healthcare scene is subject to constant change. We’ve noted the move to reduce the number of hospital bed nights. We’ve quoted the increasing life expectancy of the UK population. We could talk about new drugs, non-invasive surgery, holistic medicine, alternative therapies, the fitness phenomenon, advances in nutritional understanding, new birthing techniques. The list is almost endless.
That’s why, at Draycott Nursing, we’re never static. Healthcare is dynamic and so are we, with all that that implies for our customers and our staff. So here’s where we drop a hint or two about what to expect from Draycott Nursing in the medium-term.
Home clinical care
Today, there are some clinical techniques that are only carried out in hospital, either on an in-patient or out-patient basis. Many smaller scale clinical procedures could well be performed at home, especially for those patients whose mobility is impaired. Watch this space.
Care Homes
With all that we’ve learned in 15 years of providing home health care, naturally we’ve got some strong views on what facilities residential and care homes should provide, and how they should be run for the benefits of their residents. Expect to see our philosophy embodied in the first Draycott Home soon.
